Leslie P. Czarnecki, Owner
After graduating from Madonna University in 1991, Leslie worked as a Legal Assistant in the Metro Detroit area. Working at several major law firms in downtown Detroit, she enjoyed her job specializing in litigation. Spanning a career of over 30 years, she knew that at some point she wanted to own her own business, and she also knew that whatever it was going to be, she would put 100% into it. But, the timing had to be right. Having 3 extremely active children as well as a husband whose job was also demanding, she knew that the opportunity would present itself when the time was right.
For as long as Leslie had a career in law, she also enjoyed the esthetics world. Taking care of her skin and learning about new innovative techniques, Leslie became a consumer for over 30 years investing in her skin.
In the Fall of 2021, while Leslie was sharing ideas with a friend, her friend suggested that she attend esthetician school.
"Being a consumer for over 30 years, I felt it was a great transition."
That month, Leslie enrolled full-time in esthetician school. After completing a 400-hour esthetics program and graduating second highest in her class, Leslie took her State Boards and became a licensed esthetician.
Revive is Born
Within the first few weeks of esthetician school, Leslie knew she wanted to open her own spa.
"I may not have 30+ experience as an esthetician, but I do have 30+ years as a consumer. I also know what I have enjoyed as well as what has made me not go back to a spa."
Leslie knew she could apply all of her life experiences as well as the determination and drive to learn everything she could about the esthetics world and create something amazing. Thus, Revive was born.
"I was amazed at how I could walk into a spa for the first time and they would have all of the products lined up without ever looking at my skin. I sometimes never felt relaxed when I left a treatment for they were more worried about selling me products and rushing me out the door than of my experience."
Leslie wanted Revive to be different.
"We do not choose a client's products until their skin is analyzed. I want my clients to know that I truly care about their skincare needs. I also want to educate my client so they know what products we are using and why we are using them. I want their experience to be special."
Leslie has also taken many of the amazing experiences that she has had and incorporated them into her business model. Revive is a place where as soon as you walk in, you feel the "boutique" type atmosphere and the comfortable and cozy environment. Revive was designed to leave you feeling RELAXED.REFRESHED.REVIVED.
Revive is excited to offer Reiki. After being an avid Reiki recipient (more than 7 years), Leslie knew it was always her intent to begin to offer "wellness" treatments. After completing her full Reiki training (Master level), Reiki will now be offered and Leslie is so happy to make her spa come full circle.
Now open over 2 1/2 years, Revive has been one of the favorite spas in Birmingham to go to feel totally REVIVED!
